Mentor Youth Hunt and Conservation Day October 7th, 2017

The Winona/Root River chapter's annual youth hunt was a success for all participants. This year youth participated in trap shooting, were given instruction on shooting techniques, learned about upland conservation, and had the opportunity to shoot three pheasants. Photos from the event and information on next years youth hunt are shown below.

This event is offered to all youth ages 11-17 that have a VALID FIREARMS SAFETY PERMIT - limited to 16 youth. A random drawing will apply if more than 16 youth sign up for the event, so we can achieve a fun and safe day for all participants.

Our chapter will provide shells, clays, and lunch for all participants. 

Pre-registration is required by Friday September 29th, 2017. The event takes place outside Rushford, Minnesota from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunch provided. Prizes will be awarded to all participants!
